Experimental Lettering

Inspired by a workshop on hand-lettering and the concept of "Euphoric recall," I ventured into experimenting with organic ink forms and 3D material tools in Illustrator. This led to the creation of visually captivating and slightly unsettling typography. I also delved into animations synced with music, igniting a newfound passion for lettering that blurs the lines between illustration, type design, and expressive hand lettering. This project has encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and continue creating evocative experimental type forms.

Euphoric recall is a psychological term for the tendency of people to remember experiences in a positive light while overlooking negative experiences associated with some event(s).
